Wind-up Anger with the Endless View of the Ground's Colorful Patchwork

Monday. Not too much going on here today and my music selection is a repeat so I decided that instead of giving you all the same old boring account of my day I would share with you some scenic images brought to you courtesy of beautiful Colorado in the summertime. Enjoy!-

No problem. Thank you, Sass. Those are real pics, too. I didn't just lift them off of the net ;-)

All of those places are within an hour or less of my house. Man, I love living in Colorado...

Maybe... it's just close enough to see a father and his youngest daughter standing there but just far enough to not be able to make them out or identify them for sure... ;-)

(Also, if you look closely at the shot of the rapids you will see a whitewater raft off in the distance coming down the river. It kinda got hidden with the picture resize)

We tried to move away from Colorado once for work, but after six months we were absolutely dying to come back. I'm never leaving again unless I have the $$$ to come back every weekend or something. I missed it WAY too much.

Hey SLG, how've ya been?

Yep, dry as a bone around here. I personally way prefer that over places I've lived with high humidity, but it does have a downside. We are very susceptible to wild fires, especially up in the hills.

Speaking of living in places with high humidity... there are a whole lot of beautiful lakes in Minnesota, especially up in the boundary waters that separate Minnesota with Ontario. Absolutely gorgeous country in those parts. However, you have to endure like 7-8 months of winter if you live there, so I'll stick with the mountains in Colorado.

btw - You might already know, but your blog page has been showing up blank for the past couple of days. I'm hoping you didn't remove it. The blogiverse misses the Smalltown Diaries!
